Terms & Conditions

Published on . Last edited on .

These terms apply whenever you use divilover.com, or any other Divi Lover website that links to them, or buy anything from Divi Lover: templates, plugins, courses, workshops or 1:1 services.

About these terms

Divi Lover is run by me, Anna (Ania) Romańska, trading as Divi Lover Anna Romańska, ul. Maurycego 10, 42-256 Olsztyn, Poland, VAT ID PL5732490650, email . Divi Lover and Divi Stylist Academy are both brands of this business.

I've written these terms in plain English on purpose. Where the law gives you more rights than these terms do, the law wins. Nothing here limits your statutory rights as a consumer.

Your contract with us is made up of these terms, the description and price shown on the product or offer page when you bought, and, for custom work, the written proposal you accepted. How we handle your data is explained separately in our Privacy & Cookies Policy and our AI Statement. A short summary of refunds and withdrawal is in our Refund Policy.

Divi is a registered trademark of Elegant Themes, Inc. Divi Lover is an independent business and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Elegant Themes.

Wherever this document mentions consumers, the same applies to consumer-protected sole traders.

Using the website and your account

You can read the blog and free resources without an account. You need one to download products, access courses or manage services.

What you need. A current browser with JavaScript and cookies enabled, and a working email address. Our products also need WordPress and a Divi license from Elegant Themes, which is sold separately (see section 5).

Your account. Please give accurate details and keep your password to yourself. Course access is personal, so one account is for one person. You can close your account any time by emailing .

Please don't:

  • try to break, overload or scan the website for weaknesses
  • scrape or bulk-download content, or upload malware
  • post anything unlawful, abusive or misleading in comments or community spaces
  • pretend to be someone else, or use someone else's account

If you seriously or repeatedly break these rules, we may suspend your account. We'll tell you why first, unless the law or the seriousness of the breach (for example, a security attack) stops us.

Free content. Blog posts, tutorials, freebies and the newsletter are free and offered as is. You can unsubscribe from emails with one click in any message. We may change or remove free content at any time.

Availability and links. We do our best to keep the site running, but it may be briefly unavailable during maintenance. Links to other websites are there for convenience. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content or privacy practices.

Orders, prices and payment

Your contract with us starts when you complete checkout and we send your order confirmation email. We keep every previous version of these terms. If you need the version that applied on the day you bought, email us and we'll send it to you.

Prices and VAT. Prices are shown in euros (EUR). If you're a consumer in the EU, including Poland, VAT at your country's rate is added at checkout, and you'll see the final amount before you pay. Business customers in the EU with a valid VAT number are charged under the reverse-charge rules. Customers outside the EU pay the price without EU VAT, plus any tax their local law requires.

Discounts. Discount codes can't be combined unless the offer says so.

Payment. Payments are processed by Stripe and PayPal through our checkout (SureCart). We never see or store your full card number. Unless an offer says otherwise, you pay in full at checkout.

Payment plans. Some courses can be paid in instalments. If an instalment fails, we'll email you and give you time to update your payment method before pausing access. Access comes back as soon as the payment goes through.

Subscriptions. Maintenance and support packages, and any other recurring plan, renew automatically at the interval shown at checkout until you cancel. You can cancel any time from your account or by email, and the cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you've already paid for. If we ever change a subscription price, we'll email you at least 30 days before it applies, so you can cancel first if you prefer.

Invoices. We issue invoices electronically. If you need a VAT invoice for your business, enter your business details at checkout.

Digital products and licenses

When you buy a child theme, layout pack or plugin, you buy a license to use it. The copyright stays with Divi Lover.

LicenseNumber of websitesWho it's for
Regular1 websiteOne project, personal or commercial, built for yourself or for one client
ExtendedUnlimited websitesAny number of projects, personal or commercial, for yourself or your clients

You can:

  • use the product on client websites and charge your client for your work
  • change the design, code and content as much as you like for your projects
  • keep using the product after your support period ends

You can't:

  • resell, share or give away the product or its files, on their own or as part of another theme, template kit, plugin or course
  • upload the files to a marketplace or a public repository
  • share your license key or download link with anyone outside the project it covers
  • remove or bypass the license check

Delivery. You get instant access to your downloads and license key in your account after payment. We also email you the download link.

Updates and support. Each license is a one-time payment with no annual fee. You get product updates for as long as we develop the product, and 6 months of support from the date of purchase. Support covers installing the product and its own features. It doesn't cover custom code, third-party plugins or general Divi questions, though we'll point you in the right direction when we can.

Requirements. Current versions need WordPress and an active Divi 5 license from Elegant Themes. Server and PHP requirements are listed on each product page. Some knowledge of WordPress helps you get the most out of our products.

Demo content. Some images in demo layouts are placeholders. Please replace them with your own or properly licensed images before your site goes live.

Purchases on the old store. Licenses bought on the previous divilover.com store before 5 November 2026 keep the license and support terms that applied when you bought them.

Elegant Themes Marketplace. Products bought on the Elegant Themes Marketplace are licensed and updated through Elegant Themes, under the Marketplace terms.

Courses, workshops and community

Course access is personal: it's for you, not your team, your clients or a shared login.

How long you have access. Access periods differ between courses and workshops. Each one shows its access period on its page before you buy, and that's the period you get. If we ever close a course that came with lifetime access, we'll tell you at least 90 days in advance and give you a way to download the materials you need.

Course updates. Divi changes quickly, so we update, reorganise and sometimes replace lessons. We won't remove the core of what you paid for. When a lesson is replaced, the new version takes its place.

Live sessions and workshops. Live Q&A sessions, workshops and walkthroughs happen on the dates we announce. If a date has to move, we'll tell you as early as we can. Whether a recording is included, and for how long, is stated on each event's page.

Recordings and your privacy. Your name, voice, chat messages and questions may appear in session recordings shared with other students. You can keep your camera off and ask questions in the chat if you prefer. Recordings stay inside the student area and community (see our AI Statement for how we process them).

Community rules. The community lives on Circle. Please:

  • be kind and respectful, even when you disagree
  • keep self-promotion and affiliate links out unless a space allows them
  • never share other members' personal details, work or messages outside the community
  • not record or download lessons and sessions except through the download options we provide

We may remove posts that break these rules. If someone seriously or repeatedly breaks them, we may end their community access, and we'll explain why.

Code and files from lessons. You can use the snippets, layouts and files from lessons in your own and your clients' projects. You can't resell them or publish them as your own teaching material.

Results. We teach skills, not guaranteed outcomes. What you earn or build after a course depends on your own work, clients and market.

1:1 services

Our 1:1 services (consultations, maintenance and support packages, custom design and development) each come with their own service terms. You'll always see them on the offer page or in your written proposal before you buy or sign, and they take priority over these general terms where the two differ.

Where the service terms don't cover something, these general terms apply. If you're a consumer, the withdrawal rules in section 8 apply too.

Your right of withdrawal (14 days)

If you're a consumer in the EU or the UK, you can withdraw from a purchase within 14 days without giving a reason. For digital products, courses and services, this right can end earlier, and only in the situations below.

What you boughtThe 14 days startWhen the right ends early
Digital products (downloads)On the day you buyWhen you start downloading, if at checkout you asked for immediate access and confirmed you understand you lose the right to withdraw
Courses and workshopsOn the day you buyWhen you first access course content, on the same conditions as above. If a course starts later, the right lasts until access begins or 14 days pass, whichever comes first
Services (consultations, packages, custom work)On the day the contract is madeWhen the service is fully performed, if you asked us to start within the 14 days and confirmed you understand you lose the right once it's complete

We confirm your consent and acknowledgement in your order confirmation email. Without them, the full 14 days apply.

Services started at your request. If you asked us to start a service during the 14 days and then withdraw, you pay for the part already done, in proportion to the full price.

How to withdraw. Email us a clear statement at .

It's enough to send your statement before the 14 days run out. We'll confirm receipt by email straight away.

Your refund. We refund you within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal, using the same payment method, at no cost to you. Licenses and course access linked to the refunded order are deactivated.

Business customers don't have a statutory right of withdrawal. Customers outside the EU and the UK (for example, in the US) have the rights their local law gives them, which usually don't include a cooling-off period for digital products.

Divi Stylist Academy 30-day guarantee

Divi Stylist Academy comes with a voluntary 30-day guarantee, on top of your legal rights. It's open to every student, consumer or business.

Your 30 days start on the day you get access to Module 1. If the course isn't right for you, for any reason, tell us within that time and we'll refund you.

How to ask. Email with your order number. You don't need to give a reason.

What happens next. We refund you to the original payment method, and your course and community access from that order ends.

Other products and services don't come with this guarantee. Your statutory rights in sections 8 and 10 still apply to everything you buy, and if a product has a problem we can't fix, section 10 covers you.

Complaints and product conformity

Everything we sell must work as described on its page and in these terms. If it doesn't, you have the right to complain, and we're here to fix it.

Your rights as a consumer. If a digital product, course or service doesn't match its description, you can ask us to bring it into conformity, usually by fixing it or providing a corrected version. If we can't do that, don't do it within a reasonable time, or the problem is serious, you can ask for a price reduction or end the contract and get a refund.

  • For one-off purchases (downloads), we're responsible for problems that existed when you got the product and show up within 2 years.
  • For ongoing access (courses, subscriptions), we're responsible for problems during the whole time you have access.

How to complain. Email or open a support ticket in your account, with your order number, what's wrong and what you'd like us to do. We reply within 14 days.

Business customers. For business purchases, statutory warranty liability is excluded to the extent the law allows. We'll still help you solve any problem with what you bought.

If we can't agree. Consumers can ask for free help from their local consumer organisation. In Poland, that's the municipal or district consumer ombudsman (Rzecznik Konsumentów) or the Trade Inspection (Inspekcja Handlowa).

Intellectual property and acceptable use

Unless stated otherwise, everything on divilover.com belongs to Divi Lover: tutorials, videos, images, course materials, designs and code.

Code from the blog. You're welcome to use the snippets from our tutorials in your own and your clients' projects. Please don't republish our tutorials, in full or rewritten, as your own content. A short quote with a link back is always fine.

Reviews and testimonials. If you send us a review, you allow us to show it on our websites and in marketing with your name and the photo you provide. You can ask us to remove it at any time.

Your ideas. If you send us suggestions for products or features, we may use them freely. We'll always appreciate them.

Affiliate program

Affiliates earn a commission on sales they refer to Divi Lover. The program runs on SureCart's affiliate platform, and you join by applying and being approved.

Commission. You earn 20% of the purchase price (excluding VAT) on every product and course sold through your link.

How referrals are tracked. When someone clicks your affiliate link, a cookie is saved in their browser for 30 days. If they buy in that time, the sale is credited to you. If they clear their cookies, block them, or later click another affiliate's link, the sale can't be credited to you.

Payouts. Commissions are approved 30 days after the sale, once the refund period has passed. Approved commissions are paid by the 10th day of the following month via PayPal. The minimum payout is €50; smaller amounts roll over to the next month. You're responsible for any tax on your affiliate income.

No commission on your own purchases, refunded or cancelled orders, or sales that come from breaking these rules.

Please don't:

  • make false or exaggerated claims about our products or courses
  • bid on our brand names (Divi Lover, Divi Stylist Academy) in paid search ads
  • send spam, use cookie stuffing or hide your links
  • suggest that Elegant Themes endorses Divi Lover

Disclosure. Always make it clear that you earn a commission, in the way the law requires where you and your audience are (for example, FTC rules in the US or consumer law in the EU).

Changes and ending the program. We'll email you at least 30 days before changing commission rates. Either of us can end your participation at any time. Approved commissions are still paid, unless they came from fraud or a breach of these rules.

Moving from the old program. Affiliates from our previous AffiliateWP program need to register again in the new program at divilover.surecart.com/affiliates.

Liability

We build and teach with care, and we stand behind our work. Our responsibility to you depends on whether you're buying as a consumer or as a business.

Consumers. We're responsible to you as the law requires. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited, including for intentional harm or gross negligence.

Business customers. Our total liability for any purchase is limited to the price you paid for that product or service in the 12 months before the claim. We're not liable for lost profits, lost business, lost data or indirect losses. This limit doesn't apply to intentional harm.

Things outside our control. Our products work alongside software we don't control: WordPress, Divi, hosting and other plugins. We update our products to keep up with changes, but we can't promise compatibility with every future version or every other plugin. Please test on a staging site and keep backups, especially on client websites.

Free content. Blog posts, tutorials and free resources are shared for learning. Check that a solution fits your own setup before using it on a live site.

License breaches. If a business customer breaks the license terms in section 5 (for example, by redistributing our files), they cover the reasonable costs we have because of it.

Privacy, AI and third-party services

We only use your personal data as described in our Privacy & Cookies Policy. Only the people who need it to help you (for example, with support) can see it.

We rely on a few trusted services to run Divi Lover: SureCart for checkout, licenses and the affiliate program, Stripe and PayPal for payments, Circle for the student community, MailerLite for email and Cloudflare for website security. Each processes your data under its own terms and privacy policy.

How we use AI tools, and what always stays human, is explained in our AI Statement. Your personal data never goes into public AI tools.

Changes, governing law and contact

Changes to these terms. We may update these terms when the law changes, when we launch new products, or to make them clearer. The date at the top shows the current version.

  • Changes never apply to orders you've already placed. Those stay under the terms from the day you bought.
  • For ongoing relationships (subscriptions, course access, the affiliate program), we'll email you at least 14 days before a change applies. If you don't agree, you can end that contract before the change takes effect.

Governing law. These terms are governed by Polish law. If you're a consumer living in another EU country, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country.

Disputes. If something goes wrong, please email us first. Most problems are solved quickly that way. If we can't agree, disputes with business customers go to the court competent for our registered address in Poland. Consumers can bring a claim in the courts the law allows them to use, including in their own country.

If part of these terms doesn't hold. If a court finds any part of these terms invalid, the rest still applies.

Contact. Questions about these terms? Email or write to Divi Lover Anna Romańska, ul. Maurycego 10, 42-256 Olsztyn, Poland.
